FAIRYLAND 2015: A YEAR IN REVIEW

From Rileyland to celebrating our BIG 65, 2015 was another great year for Children's Fairyland. What made the year so great was seeing how you enjoyed the park. Whether it was one of our adult events, Member Day, Sleepovers, Birthday parties or just a regular fun day at the park, we love seeing the photos that you all share with us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook over the past year. Last night at Fairyland! It's an utterly adorable kid's park here in Oakland open since 1950 {and rumor has it, an inspiration for Walt Disney as he plotted Disneyland...}. Usually you can only attend with children but a few times a year they have "Grown Ups Night" fundraisers. This was Drawn Together night, with around 40 local artists creating charming Fairlyland-inspired pieces of art. You get to mill about, sip wine and at the end if the night is a wacky art auction (all pieces are $40! If more than one person wants a piece, you draw from a deck of cards. High card wins!}. Super fun night.
